Top of the line professional setup, it would have been a skeletal CGI model rendered to kinematic recorded motions of professional breakdancer, offset with the program used to move the camera. (I forget the name of the technique, but they developed something similar at ILM in the 70s to automate reproduction of camera motions when filming the attacks on the Death Star. It's not a big step to take those recorded motions and feed them into the camera viewpoint value of a 3D renderer.)
There are a few more time-consuming methods an amateur could use to do it.
